The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) publishes a searchable directory of licensed early education and care programs in Massachusetts to assist families in finding a provider for their child or children. The EEC licenses child care programs in Massachusetts. There are two types of licensed child care programs:

- Group & School Age Child Care programs
